Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

The short version: FuelCents does not collect, store, or share any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device and in your private iCloud account.

What data the app uses

FuelCents stores the data you enter — vehicles, fuel entries, and maintenance records — locally on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your private iCloud database via Apple's CloudKit.

This data never leaves your control. It is not sent to us, stored on our servers, or accessible by anyone other than you.

iCloud sync

If you use iCloud, your data is synced across your devices by Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This sync happens within your own private iCloud account. Apple's privacy policy governs how iCloud stores and protects your data — we have no access to it.

Analytics and crash reporting

FuelCents does not use any analytics, tracking, or crash reporting tools. We do not collect usage data of any kind.

Third-party services

FuelCents does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or data brokers.

Children's privacy

FuelCents does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
